FlightFinder Aviation Safety Data
Read-only access to a merged aviation-safety corpus: **164,068 accident narratives** aggregated from **128 official investigation authorities** — the NTSB, ATSB, AAIB, BEA, MAK and dozens of national agencies — deduplicated into one occurrence-level dataset with derived aircraft-family analytics. Also included, as US-government public-domain datasets: FAA wildlife strikes (351,016 records, 1990–2026), FAA reported laser incidents (54,722) and FAA drone sightings, each with global aggregates plus per-airport, per-species and per-US-state breakdowns. Airport reference data comes from OurAirports (CC0). **No key, no configuration.** Every tool answers at the keyless tier (100 requests/day/IP); a free key at [himaxym.com/developers](https://himaxym.com/developers) raises that to 1,000/day. **Tools:** `search_accidents`, `get_accident`, `get_narrative`, `aircraft_safety`, `list_sources`, `airport_reference`, `wildlife_strikes`, `laser_incidents`, `drone_sightings`. **Licensing:** facts and merged/derived data are always returned in full. Narrative text is full for open-licensed sources (CC, OGL, Licence Ouverte/Etalab, public domain) and an ~300-character excerpt plus a deep link otherwise — `list_sources` carries the policy per source. Every record carries its source, attribution and licence; show them when you repeat anything.
