FontFreezer
Bakes OpenType features and variable-font axes permanently into a font file, so they render everywhere — including design tools, email clients, and older software that ignores CSS `font-feature-settings`. Instead of hoping the renderer honours your feature settings, you get a new font file where small caps, tabular numbers, slashed zeroes, or a pinned weight are simply the default. ### Tools - **`freeze_font`** — bakes the features you name into the font's cmap and returns the result. Takes `font_name`, `features` (e.g. `tnum,ss01`), optional `axes` (e.g. `wght=400,wdth=75`), `format` (`woff2`, `woff`, `ttf`, `otf`), and `style` (`normal` or `italic`). - **`analyze_font`** — lists a font's OpenType features, variable axes, and named instances before you commit to anything. - **`search_google_fonts`** — finds families by name, with category, weights, and whether they are variable. - **`convert_font`** — converts between TTF, OTF, WOFF, and WOFF2 without changing features. ### How you get the file Connected to this hosted server, `freeze_font` and `convert_font` upload the result and return a download link valid for 7 days — the server has no access to your filesystem. Your agent fetches the link and saves the font into your project. ### Privacy No account, no API key, no sign-up. Fonts are fetched from Google Fonts by the server, so you are not uploading your own files. Generated fonts are kept in private storage reachable only through the expiring link you are given. No personal data is collected. Full documentation: https://fontfreezer.com/docs
