Google Trends MCP
Production-ready Google Trends MCP server with built-in defenses against Google's aggressive rate-limiting. Designed for keyword research and SEO work in long agent sessions where naïve Google Trends clients hit 429 after a few queries. What you get via the agent: • Trends API — `compare_keywords`, `get_interest_by_region`, `get_related_queries` for any term. • Proxy rotation — feed it a list of residential proxies (Webshare, IPRoyal, Smartproxy formats supported) and the server rotates per request, drops dead ones, and exposes a `proxy_refresh` tool to re-load the pool. • Auto-retry on block — Google's 429 / consent-page traps are retried on the next proxy automatically. • Direct mode — set `PROXIES_ENABLED=false` to skip the proxy layer entirely (small queries from a clean IP). Proxies are configured via env vars (`PROXY_URL` single endpoint, `PROXY_LIST` comma-separated, or `PROXY_LIST_FILE` for a file with one URL per line). See README for proxy provider recommendations, format examples, and the OSS → hosted → x402 roadmap.
