heyyumi
HeyYumi is an MCP server that grounds AI agents in verified Korean food & drink venue data — 380,000+ restaurants, cafes, and bars across Seoul, Gyeonggi, Busan, and Jeju, and expanding nationwide. Instead of hallucinating restaurants or scraping stale pages, your agent calls tools to search and filter real venues by location, cuisine, and structured attributes — wifi, parking, private rooms, outdoor seating, pet-friendly, kids-friendly, vegan and vegetarian options, English-speaking staff, and dozens more — find nearby places by coordinates, check whether a venue is open at a specific date and time, and read owner-verified photos, menus, business hours, and prices. At Yumi Partner venues, agents can go one step further and request and confirm a real table reservation right inside the conversation: the request goes to the owner, who approves or declines, and the agent reports the confirmed booking back to the user — no phone call, no external link. Every venue is reconciled and confidence-scored across multiple independent sources, so agents reach the right answer in fewer calls instead of guessing. The same data is available over both MCP and REST, with OAuth sign-in for Claude and ChatGPT or a simple API key for any other client. Ask things like: "Find a quiet cafe near Hongdae with wifi and power outlets," "Recommend a Korean BBQ place in Gangnam that takes reservations and book a table for four tonight," "Show highly rated seafood restaurants open now near Aewol in Jeju," or "Find a vegan-friendly restaurant in Seongsu for a group." Use it to build travel assistants, local-discovery and concierge features, chat commerce, and end-to-end reservation flows for Korea.
