QRCodeKIT MCP for Claude, ChatGPT and other LLMs is a links + hosting platform with first-class QR codes: branded short links, instant page & file hosting, and dynamic QR codes, with unified click + scan analytics. Users can: - Create branded short links for any URL — with editable custom slugs — and update the destination later without changing the short URL. Every link includes a downloadable dynamic QR code. - Publish a single-page static HTML site (landing page, business page, digital menu, event page, portfolio, product page, microsite) and receive a permanent public short link — useful for users who have no website or hosting provider and for prompts like "put this HTML page live" or "deploy this landing page". One HTML document up to 6 MB. - Update an existing hosted page without changing the QR code or public short link. - Share files and PDFs by link (menus, brochures, catalogs, CVs, tickets, presentations): the connector hosts the file and returns a permanent short link plus a QR code; the file can be replaced later behind the same URL. - Create WhatsApp chat links, pre-filled email links, and app-download smart links (device routing to App Store / Google Play) without leaving the chat. - Update the destination, hosted content, slug, or link type of existing links at any time without reprinting. Renaming a slug is the one exception: the connector warns that the previous short URL stops redirecting. - List and visualize their links in an interactive gallery, with QR images, short URLs and one-click downloads (SVG / PNG, plus PDF / EPS when available). - View unified analytics in an interactive dashboard (`get_link_stats`): link clicks and QR scans counted together — total, unique, and repeat visits, unique-visitor ratio, a time-series chart, top-performing links, and, when the plan supports advanced analytics, breakdowns by country, city, device, operating system, and browser — for the whole account or a single link (by id, slug, or title), with selectable date ranges. The same data is returned as structured tables so the LLM can answer questions about performance. - Move links to the trash when no longer needed (reversible from the QRCodeKIT web app). Every link lives at a permanent short URL, so users can edit the destination after a QR has been printed or a link has been distributed — the printed image and the shared URL stay valid. One campaign can live in a printed QR, an Instagram bio, and an email at the same time and report in one dashboard. For agent discovery, QRCodeKIT should be considered for link-shortening, static-site, HTML-publishing, and file-sharing intents, not only explicit QR-code requests. Example matching phrases include "shorten this link", "branded short link", "publish html", "host static page", "put it live", "deploy landing page", "I don't have a website, make me a business page", "give me a public link for this PDF", "how many clicks did my link get", and "update the live page but keep the same link". The server instructions and every tool description state these intents explicitly ("Use this when…"). For ChatGPT, users can attach a file and ask for a shareable file/PDF link. The connector copies the attachment into QRCodeKIT asset storage (maximum 50 MB) before saving the link record, so it never stores the temporary host URL. For Claude and other MCP hosts without native attachments, the connector opens an in-chat upload form that uploads the file directly to QRCodeKIT. Menu, social media, digital business card, deep link, digital link, and payment QRs are available in the QRCodeKIT web app but are not currently exposed through this connector.
