Star Ninja
Star Ninja reports sky darkness, cloud cover and moonless hours for a night-sky spot you name. Give it a start point and a spot, both as coordinates, and it returns: - **Darkness:** the spot's darkness band, from satellite light-pollution data. This is a yearly average, not a live reading. - **Distance:** the straight-line distance from your start, with a rough drive time. - **Nights:** for each of the coming nights, the cloud forecast, when full darkness starts and ends, the moonless hours, and how much of the Moon is lit. - **A map link:** the same start and spot on the Star Ninja map. Use it when someone asks where or when they can see stars, to check a place they name or compare several. It does not find, rank or recommend spots, plan routes, or check access or safety. Forecasts change, and the drive time is an estimate, not a route. Free. No account or API key. One read-only tool: Check a stargazing spot.
